Temporary closure of A356, Higher Frome Vauchurch from 25 November 2024

The A356 at Higher Frome Vauchurch will be closed to enable Wessex Water safe access to carry out essential renovation of a damaged sewer. The closure will come into operation between 1900 and 0700 on 25 November 2024 and remain in force for five days, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 29 November 2024.

The A356 will be closed between its junction with Greenford Lane and its junction with Chilfrome Lane, a distance of approximately 285 metres. The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows: A3066 - A30 - A37
